Nearly after a 2-year break, K-pop fans most loved event, Idol Star Athletics Championships (ISAC) is returning in 2022. The news was officially confirmed by MBC earlier this month, along with the dates, and venues for this year’s event.

MBC also confirmed the dates for Chuseok Special episode which is scheduled to film on 30th July and August 1, 2022. The initial day of the filming is scheduled to take place at MBC Hall in Sangam whereas the second episode will be filmed at Goyang Gymnasium.
K-Pop fans around the globe are already overwhelmed by the news of ISAC, 2022 and have put them on a cliffhanger, wondering about the lineups, groups, and artists to take part in the event.
The event ISAC will be broadcast on MBC’s official TV channel for viewers in South Korea.

• NCT – The NCT dream will feature for the second time in ISAC. Their last appearance came back in 2022.
• IVE – This is going the be the first appearance of the rookie group.
• TRI.BE – The group only debuted in 2021, so it will also be the first time for them In ISAC.
• ATBO – This will be also the first time ATBO to feature in ISAC.
• Jeong Sewoon – 2020 penalty shootout silver medalist will mark his second appearance in the ISAC.
• KINGDON – Another debutant group to make its appearance in ISAC this year.
• EVERGLOW – The other soloist that will feature for more than one time in the event.
