PrepSoccer continues unveiling the recruiting class rankings for 2024 on Wednesday with a look at the programs ranked between 11 and 20 on the list. Check out the article on the players ranked between 21-30 here.

The top 10 programs from 2024 will be unveiled tomorrow. PrepSoccer updated national rankings listed before the recruit’s name.

11. Michigan State

#12 Cassidy Corcione (PDA), #165 Samantha Maroni (Colorado Rapids), #164 Annamarie Williams (Internationals), #166 Lexi Grundler (Tennessee SC), Madelyn Rousseau (Nationals), Ava Panduren (Nationals), Kaleigh McPherson Kaleigh McPherson M MO (SLSG-MO), Julia Beli (Ohio Premier)

Cassidy Corcione is the headliner here. She previously committed to Clemson. Then committed to Michigan State in July. The PDA defender tore her ACL last season. She returned for the ECNL playoffs. The initial reaction is that she is back to the level that she showed previously and looks to be on the same trajectory in her player development despite having to sit out for a season due to the injury. She was a key player for the US Youth National Team in the past and the hunger to be the best is still there. We’re willing to bet that Corcione is going to make some programs look silly for not trying to land her commitment sooner.

12. Washington

#11 Tanner Ijams (Beach FC), #55 Andrea Leyva (Heat FC), Ava Morton (Washington Premier), Alex Buck (Eastside FC), Maggie Dutra (Eastside FC), Cecelia Egan (San Diego Surf), Bridget Guevara (Heat FC), Sophie Blake (Washington Premier)

There definitely seems to be an opportunity for Tanner Ijams to step in as the starter immediately with Washington, which is a rare situation for a freshman goalkeeper. The talent from the recruit and the roster situation seemed to align that way. She might not be the only one who is getting the green light early on from this 2024 class. Andrea Leyva is arguably the most talented player in this class. An injury has kept her off the field for some time now, but if Leyva gets back to the level she has shown in the past she could be the key to making this team a top competitor in the Big Ten.

13. Vanderbilt

#34 Ellie Fife (Michigan Hawks), #48 Jaleah Simmons (CESA), Neliaj Kealohilani Deleon (Classics Elite), Mary Beth McLaughlin (Tophat), Ava Slay (AHFC)

Ellie Fife and Jaleah Simmons are studs, and the rest of this Vanderbilt group is promising too. Fife played for the Hawks’ UWS team this summer. She led the team in minutes played, as she is one of the most consistent defenders in this class. DeLeon was a late surge this season in the recruiting battle. She impressed at an ECNL National Selection Game. The goalkeeper could be one to watch this season as she continues to push for early minutes at the next level.

14. Texas A&M

#5 Emma Yolinsky (Solar), Emma Hoang (Solar), Mary Claire Torn (AHFC), Maysen Veronda (Slammers FC HB Koge), Sydney Fuller (Dallas Texans)

I hope Texas A&M just lets Emma Yolinsky cook. Her brilliance at the youth level has been overshadowed at times (albeit due to teammates or not getting the chance with the youth national teams), but she is one of the best true soccer players in this class and the opportunity is there for the Aggies to develop an attacking midfielder who should be playing at the professional level in the future.

Given that most of this class is local Texas talent, the commitment from Veronda stands out. The Southern California goalkeeper might be in line for a role early on. The current roster of Texas A&M has a 5th year, senior, and junior goalkeeper. Veronda was excellent with Slammers Koge last season. She has really good footwork and excellent technique on saves.

15. Michigan

#9 Adeleine Walick (Colorado Rapids), Elle Ervin (Liverpool FCIA Michigan) Ella Jablinskey (Nationals), Brianna Harshe (Michigan Hawks), Josephine Owen-Kren (Internationals)

Walick was recently profiled after being named to the WPSL Best XI for her play at that level over the summer. She is the headliner from this group, but the local talent will be key to staying competitive in what should be a very difficult conference come 2024. Harshe is one to watch from this group. The futsal standout is a promising right-footed attacking talent.

16. Virginia Tech

#35 Annie DeHaan (San Diego Surf), #66 Viviana Pope (TSJ FC Virginia), #95 Gabrielle Ciocca (NC Courage), #120 Ashleigh Vizek (TSJ FC Virginia), Taylor Lewin (NTH Tophat), Kathryn Grannis (Austin Sting), Lauren Carpenter (VDA)

What an exciting class for Virginia Tech. Some top local talent combined with a couple of players with youth national team call-ups. Annie DeHaan is a top defender in this class. Viviana Pope, the daughter of Hall of Fame member Eddie Pope, is a talented forward. The 2023 and 2024 classes for the Hokies could be something special in the future. Matt Gwilliam and Drew Kopp hit a home run with this group.

17. Purdue

#50 Grace Jackson (Internationals), #70 Faith Graziano (CFC), #133 Stephanie Lathrop (Maryland United), Brooke Birtwistle (NEFC)

Jim Schneiderhahn landed quite a class in 2024, but the pizzazz of the group took a bit of hit recently. Zoe Cuneio Zoe Cuneio null | M Eureka (MO) | 2024 MO graduated a year early and joined the program this season so it does take some of the steam out when looked at from a just 2024 perspective, but it helps the program overall to have the top player there early. Grace Jackson and Cuneio might play different positions but there are a lot of similarities between the two standouts. Players who have youth national team pedigree and players who seem to always be on winning teams. They are difference-makers at the youth level. Faith Graziano is going to push her way into the conversation for a starting spot early too.

18. Alabama

#37 Alexis Meyer (Colorado Rapids), #83 Maison Smith Maison Smith D Eureka (MO) | 2024 #91 Nation MO (SLSG), #131 Kiley Kukan Kiley Kukan M #144 Nation MO (SLSG), Breeanne Brewer (So Cal Blues), Madeline Munguia (Pacific FC), Ashley Roni (Crossfire)

The revival of the Alabama program is already here and the 2024 class is going to continue to carry the flag. Alexis Meyer is a brilliant player from a top program. Kiley Kukan Kiley Kukan M #144 Nation MO was a key player on a two-time National Championship team and a Midwest Conference All-Conference honoree last season. Maison Smith Maison Smith D Eureka (MO) | 2024 #91 Nation MO impressed during the playoffs with her play at center back. This is a terrific group.

19. Virginia

#32 Sophia Bradley (PDA), #98 Sara Flammia (Richmond United), Kira Waller (Virginia Union)

It’s a small class for Virginia in 2024, but there is still reason to believe it will be an impactful group. Sophia Bradley has youth national team pedigree. The forward has some high expectations headed to the ACC powerhouse. Sara Flammia is a top local talent. The midfielder is great on the ball and should thrive in the UVA style of play.

20. Northwestern

#30 Kennedy Roesch (San Diego Surf), #122 Alex Fallon (GSA), Tanna Schornstein (San Diego Surf), Kate Hennen (CSA Monmouth), Mary Stroebel (North Shore)

The Northwestern 2024 class plucked two top talents from Southern California, a dynamic attacking threat from Georgia, a versatile defender/midfielder from New Jersey, and a mult-sport athlete from Wisconsin. Rich Manning still knows how to recruit and he is one of the best in the business at it. This is a stellar group for the Wildcats. Mary Stroebel might be the most interesting one of the bunch as she is one of those rare prospects who does not play in the GA or ECNL. The forward from Wisconsin is a star on the basketball court as well as the soccer field.
